Green ANVIL were thrilled to take part in this year’s Children’s Rehab Charity Golf Day in support of Kids Rehab at the Children’s Hospital, Westmead and Rehab2Kids at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.
Now in it’s 17th year, the CRCGD was established in memory of Liam O’Flaherty, director of Green ANVIL, Sam O’Flaherty’s brother. The funds raised from the golf day go directly to support the clinicians, nurses, therapists and teams on the ground working at the hospitals via the Liam O’Flaherty Fellowship Trust – providing ongoing training in the area of paediatric disabilities.
This year was the biggest year yet, raising over $135,000 from the day itself, auction, via donations and from corporate sponsorship. Green ANVIL was proud to be a hole sponsor for the 17th year in a row as as a member of the board running the event.Now, at its new home St. Michael’s Golf Course, the golf day is going from strength to strength.
