Breathing new life into a beachside art deco apartment surrounded by neighbours.
The project involved alteration and additions to an existing 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom apartment located within an art-deco block consisting of five units.
The building was originally constructed in the 1920’s – presenting some difficulty throughout construction including an existing concrete floor that was up to 50mm out of level. Floor was levelled using an innovative acoustic technique.
Winner - 2016 Master Builders Association of NSW Excellence in Housing Award.
