A modern extension with a balance of old and new.
Designed by GSBN Studio, the Silver Back project took the existing terrace house foot print and expanded it into a two-story family home clad entirely in corrugated sheet metal. In drastic contrast to its neighbours, the new metal box conceals a warm, open interior with a spiral stair bridging the old building with the new.
