CONVERTING AN INNER EAST WAREHOUSE INTO A FAMILY HOME.
Carrying out projects involving heritage elements are always complex from a compliance point of view. We needed to ensure the renovation remained sensitive to the history of the building while bringing it up to code.
- Thurlow Warehouse involved the complete demolition and re-build of a three storey / three bedroom / three bathroom / single garage apartment located in a warehouse conversion comprising five units.
- We carried out complicated structural works involving alternate solutions to ensure compliance with BCA and carried out strata facade works concurrently with the main contract including works to steel framed windows with heritage significance.
